    For the period of 2014 & 2015 Milne Construction & Fabrication completed 10 complete dairy projects from design to commissioning. No other builder completed as many complete projects as this, in this time.

    For a Dairy yard or feed pad there isn’t anything more important than the concrete finish. We use the international best practice of long straight groves in the concrete. Our groved dairy yards are of the highest quality out there.

About Managing Director

History:

  • Completed apprenticeship at J.Furphy & Sons in Shepparton as a Boilermaker and Sheet Metal Worker
  • Commenced subcontracting in 2000, specialising in the set up of dairies across Australia and New Zealand.
  • From 2003, worked in Canada completing concrete formwork on multi level buildings, as well as working with North America’s largest construction company – Peter Kewit & Sons as a structural steel welder on a new road bridge along the Trans Canadian Highway.
  • In 2005 established Milne Construction & Fabrication
  • In 2008 took 18 months off to live and work in Denmark. Worked for a company setting up specialised EMC testing chambers. Clients included Vestas wind systems, Lego, Motorola.

Currently specialising in:

  • Construction of new dairies, sheds, feed pads, free stall barns and industrial buildings
  • Structural steel fabrication, erection & rigging
  • Concreting & precast panel construction
  • Repairs & maintenance of plant and equipment and factory shut downs.
  • Labour hire for mechanical & steel installations, & steel fabrication.
